We love Halloween. It's the best excuse to go absolutely crazy with dressing up, makeup body paint, hot pants and all sorts of fabulous outfits.
These are our top 10 favourite gay couple Halloween costumes we've seen, loved, and in most cases, tried out ourselves.
Superheroes: Batman and Superman
Comic book fans will particularly love this one. Dressing up as superheroes is always guaranteed to be one of the most popular gay costumes for Halloween. You can go as full-on with this as you want by buying the whole outfit, complete with mask and cape.
Or, you can simply wear the cape, with matching tight pants or even speedos, then fill in the rest with body paint like we tried for our Halloween at the Wicked Manors festival in good old gay Fort Lauderdale:
The hairy sisters: full matching drag
With a bit of makeup, dresses and the right wig, you can create your own take of scary matching Halloween sisters. In our case, we dressed up one year as The Hairy Sisters to parade the streets of London for Halloween:
Angel and devil
If you like dressing up as angels during Pride, this is a fun take on this. For gay couples at Halloween, one of you can dress up as the cheeky angel whilst the other is the horny devil.
We particularly loved gay Vlogger couple Trent and Luke‘s angel/devil Halloween gay costume take on this:
Frankenstein and his sexy monster
Don't you know the story? Dr Frankenstein created a very sexy monster, fell in love with him, and took him to the Halloween ball:
Mario brothers: Mario and Luigi
If like us you grew up playing Nintendo games, you'll love the idea of dressing up as the Mario brothers. This is the perfect gay Halloween costume for gay couples who (ahem!) look alike and have dark features. It's also the perfect excuse to grow a moustache and show off a bit of leg:
Skeleton couples in suits
If you want an excuse to suit up, why not try this skeleton look for your Halloween outfit, touched up with some face paint for dramatic effect:
Zoolander: Hansel and Derek
This is a fun gay couple Halloween costume to try out, inspired by the Zoolander movie. Get those “Blue Steel” lips ready for a night of serious pouting. This works beautifully for gay couples where one is blonde and the other dark-haired. Or, just get a blonde wig for the Hansel impersonator:
Adam and Steve
What a cute idea and the chance to wear as little as you dare! This gay Halloween costume idea is a cute play on “Adam and Eve”. The main features involve leaves covering private parts, and a big juicy ripe red apple:
Pokemon: Pikachu and Ash
Pokemon fans will want to consider dressing up as Ash and Pikachu as their gay couple Halloween costume. What you need for Ash is a hat, blue vest and green finger-less gloves. For Pikachu, yellow clothing, cute ears and face paint. We loved the way cute vlogger Andrew Keenan-Bolger modelled this look with his boyfriend:
Sexy gladiator warriors
If you've got the body then you'll no doubt want to consider something like a sexy gladiator warrior for your matching gay Halloween costume. It's simple and super sexy:
