Located directly on Fort Lauderdale Beach, this iconic South Florida resort was formerly known as the Yankee Clippers. It features a contemporary ballroom and a state-of-the-art meeting room.

I didn’t get to try the breakfast cause I was there for my son‘s graduation and had to leave but the beach the pool the scenery. Everything was perfect. The room was nice and clean.

    I just loved going for breakfast asking for water, there were 4 of us! You can only get 4 waters per table, or we will be charged? Strange! We had cardboard pancakes, the manager took care of that grateful for her! On a good note our waitress was great, no fantastic! Only good thing about breakfast! The manager also compt us for the next day, was good! Again Thank you! For what you pay for the hotel you shouldn't have to pay for parking, they nickel and dime you to death here! Really sad! The rest of Fort Lauderdale does the same! Not worth the stay!

    Not the great vacation/convention spot it was 25 years ago. Expensive add ons including parking and chairs to enjoy the sun. Construction, no direct water views. Making reservations for jet ski excursion was a joke (Esteban). Pools and hot tub not monitored. Regular/daily pandhandlers on the main streets. Not relaxing. unlikely to return

    Nice resort and beaches. There are busy areas if you like them, but also quiet areas. We visited the State Park, which was lovely. Hotel on Riomarr Street where we stayed was good and well located. Nice rooftop bar and quiet for sleeping

    Florida drivers have no patience so your going to be honked...

    Florida drivers have no patience so your going to be honked at a ton. If you don't push the gas right as the light turns green....look out!!! Put your phone on avoiding tolls so you don't get caught with surprise bills after your vacation and you map avoids roads with tolls. To go on a tight budget is difficult, to sit on the beach....not really a thing, you'll be sold on getting chairs and umbrellas and beach beds, etc. Go to the everglades, the state parks, things run by professional groups. Shopping locations and downtown streets are a bit shady, homeless people and lot's of begging for money. Lot's of Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds for breakfasts.

    Easy to get to from Fort Lauderdale Airport and Seminole HOtel and Casino. Great for self catering. Hosts were very accommodating and when the property had a drain blockage, they moved me to another unit without any hassel. WIll go back again.
