We had a wonderful stay. The hosts are very kind and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We had delicious dinner and breakfast. When we arrived we got cake and juice. The rooms are very nice with a beautiful bathroom. We did a safari with them and saw lots of animals. The guide was also very kind and his English was great. We enjoyed coming here!!

We ate a delicious dinner and breakfast, Tiron and his wife catered to my gluten free diet with no problems and the food was incredible. Tiron organised an excellent safari for us with a competent guide - highly recommend for a safari stay.

Lovely home stay near the Udawalawe National Park. Tiron was very helpful before and during the stay, arranging an afternoon safari for us before our arrival, and onward taxi to Ella for after our stay. The home stay is in a quiet area off the main road and takes 15 minutes to drive to the park. The dinner was fantastic and it was nice to stay in this family home. Would recommend the 4 hour safari, not sure you would need the extra 2 hours offered. Lots of water also provided.

The property was bright and spacious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful and arranged a great guide for our safari to Udawalawe National Park. We had breakfast and dinner at the property and the food was great. It was cooked by the host herself and was fresh and tasty!

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and that nothing was too much trouble. The room, bathroom and balcony were all very spacious with space to put your belongings. We had both breakfast and evening meals and they were superb. We felt part of the family.

We had an amazing stay. The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. Lovely small hotel, had a really chilled and welcoming feel, really reasonable price and great room with cool outdoor bathroom. They organised our private safari tour which was incredible - we saw so much wildlife, our guide was really knowledgeable and friendly and we were sent off with the most amazing lunch which we ate on the Reserve - Chicken Kottu , Dal, Roti, Curry potatoes- felt v spoilt. We had one night with Tiron and his family and they made this a truly unforgettable experience. In the weeks running up to our trip I reached out to Mansala about arranging a safari trip for my girlfriends birthday. Tiron responded very quickly giving two options (4hr and 6hr) with very competitive prices. It was great to know that this was sorted ahead of arrival. Our room was great and felt very private. We loved the indoor/outdoor bathroom with outdoor shower which was a unique touch. As for the safari itself, this was brilliant and to our surprise, Tiron had arranged for a birthday cake to be brought out when we were having breakfast in the National Park! Finally, the hosts were able to book us onward transport with no fuss. All in all we simply could not ask for anymore and would recommend this to anyone looking for a great trip to Udawalawe!
