Asian Tradition, French Flair and Growing Modernity
With delicious Vietnamese aromas, small silk shops and ancient pagodas, the streets of Ho Chi Minh City dazzle tourists with their vibrant atmosphere. Its rich culture includes beautiful French colonial palaces mixed with modern skyscrapers that show the power of Vietnam’s economic capital.
Whether you decide to visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, or the Municipal Theater, you’ll see the care shown by Saigonese people in preserving their historic legacy. On the other hand, the Haussmann-style boulevards are typically packed with small motorcycles that make every street crossing a whole new experience.
Contemporary Saigon can be seen in places like the Bitexco Financial Tower, located directly at central Ham Nghi Blvd. Meanwhile, Saigon Center or Zen Plaza are some of its modern shopping malls.
For a look into Vietnam’s recent history, don’t miss the Reunification Palace or the War Remnants Museum. A sunset visit to the 23rd September Park is the best way to mingle with the locals.
Indulge yourself in one of the 5-star Ho Chi Minh hotels, or stay in a budget hotel at Pham Ngu Lao Street. Don’t miss the Ho Chi Minh City accommodations on Booking.com before arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport!

A buzzling city and you get a chance to explore food, culture, people, history, and you just name it. Getting the city and different district is easy. But do use translator as some local place still difficult to communicate using English. All the best to explore!

Definitely a vibrant and energetic city with friendly faces.
Definitely a vibrant and energetic city with friendly faces. One will get used to the honking after a day or two, also crossing the street like the local Vietnamese. Just Walk on and do not run or stop in the middle of the road/street to avoid accidents.
The city offers good food expeditions and go with an open mind to try the local fare. Shopping malls are decent but not up to date like most major cities in Asia. The streets can be “perfumed” by the scent of urine. Otherwise, it’s generally clean in most part of the city.

Ho Chi Minh city is bustling with activity.
Ho Chi Minh city is bustling with activity. So much going on at once. Aim for District 1 for sure as everything is only a short walk away. Be prepared for the heat and humidity. It was so very hot when we were there. Don't be tempted to accept a tour guide from people outside of an actual tour agency as you may find yourself paying double or more compared to booking the same activity through a store front agent. I recommend for the first time to Saigon that you aim for somewhere near Saigon Central park which is a nice green space and very close to markets, plenty of places to eat and of cause walking street. A great city full of adventures.

Big city, very busy and modern.
Big city, very busy and modern.
Walking around is a little bit difficult, partly due to big distances between sightseeing places and non stop traffic.
Very hot and humid.
I would use this place as a pit stop to go somewhere else.

Burstling city where you can find almost everything.
Burstling city where you can find almost everything. Though not as modern as Bangkok, it has its charm and authenticity. After all, the food scene is just amazing and it comes at very good price. Avoid some tourist traps like food courts, locals don't go there. Usually each restaurant offers a speciality and where locals are, it's a good sign.

Visited in mid-March, dry season, but a little rain would have washed away some of the smells. Unfortunately, I had some bad food at a restaurant and contracted Typhoid Fever, not critical but spoiled the trip. Food safety is not a priority with many establishments. Make sure you carry appropriate medication and travel insurance is a must. Many scammers preying upon tourists beware the shoe-shine touts and Grab riders, really tiresome after a while avoiding all the scammers. Vietnam (and much of South-East Asia) need s toc lean up their act, garbage is a massive problem with litter thrown everywhere. At the bottom of a famous waterfall hundreds of tons of plastic waste. Sadly 70% of all plastic waste into the Pacific Ocean is from 4 rivers in SE Asia.

The family which is running the hotel is friendly and helpful.
The room was fairly clean, the bathroom and bed were nice.
There is an elevator.
It's basically in between the airport and district 1 so if you're flying out, it's very convenient that the airport is a 5-10 min drive away.
If you have a short amount of time and you mostly want to see the important sights of and nearby the city, it's a good chance to experience a very local neighborhood of Saigon just by taking a short walk around the hotel.
The location couldn't have been better for exploring the vibrant heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. With iconic attractions just steps away, I was able to fully immerse myself in the city's culture and nightlife. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a memorable and convenient stay in Saigon.
Central location in District 1, high-end hotel apartments, newly renovated, everything is clean and tidy, 24 hours security, security measures are very good. There is a gym and swimming pool on the top floor, a local restaurant downstairs, 10-minute walk to the central Post office, and the central city area is also very convenient to walk. The landlord is also very nice, and will be very eager to help you solve any problems. Highly recommend.
The location was perfect starting point for city sights in district 1. The facilities are very good. We particularly enjoyed the gym space and though we did not use the sauna or spa they looked to be of quality as well. The room was large and comfortable with all you need. The rooftop pool was a big hit with our son and we used it daily. We would recommend a stay here and would return when back in HCMC.
Location is ideal in District 1, close to many restaurants and walking street. Within walking distance of the Cathedral, City Hall, Opera House, Bach Dang marina, and many other attractions and shopping areas.
The apartment has a washer/dryer that was very helpful during our stay. Great air conditioning.
Host was very responsive and quick to provided answers to all our questions.
The first thing I have noticed is that the hotel is designed by a very good architect. The room was nicely laid out and clean. Very friendly staffs and managers. It is quite close to the city center. The street where the hotel is located is full of street foods and restaurants. I really dig the “Bung thit nug”.
5 stars overall!
The location of this hotel is good, it's not too far to walk to many of the places you want to see in Ho chi Minh city. The lobby area is nice and welcoming and the staff are friendly and helpful and gave us good recommendations of what to do and go and see in the city. Breakfast was good with a nice range of food choices.
I recently enjoyed a pleasant stay at 8h Hostel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, opting for a solo room that, while a bit small, was clean and well-maintained. The hostel's prime location next to vibrant markets made it easy to immerse myself in the local culture. It was easy to catch a grab or taxi on the main street.
Best thing about friendly family owned hotel at the heart of Ho chi Minh City and walking street, they have Asian kitchen which is just amazing food even as being Indian we had lot of options . just only drawback is room's are bit okay but no lift but staffs are supportive good value for money we extended our stay too
The apartment was spacious and elegant, with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, making me feel at home. The pool was the best part, with a breathtaking view of the river and the skyline. This was the perfect place to enjoy the beauty and charm of Ho Chi Minh City.
We found this hotel to be well maintained and clean. It is conveniently located a short drive from Ho Chi Minh city in a quiet street with shops and supermarkets all within walking distance. It does however lack kitchen appliances so guests should be ready to purchase meals outside instead of preparing it themselves.
quite close to opera house, harldy five minute walking distance from main attaraction of District 1 and saigon city, Room is neat and clean, Being a vegetarian Breakfast is not suitable , need to add some food for Vegetarian Guest, Staff is very friendly speacialy Male staff on reception and at Gate also
Hotel is very nice in District 1 of the busiest city.
- Beautiful Rooftop
- Very good breakfast
- Afternoon Tea was great
- Very nice staff
- We were able to visit everything on foot from there.
The apartment room is clean, airy and comfortable. Friendly staff, always ready to help you when needed. Generally ok. very close to district 1 and city center. The canal view is also very beautiful
Comfy bed, clean room, excellent staff. I have stayed here more than 5 times. Will come back again. Excellent hotel in this area. Close to main business area and city attractions in district 1.
Amazing location right in the center of District 1, close to bars, restaurants, cafes, the main landmarks and markets - the perfect place to start exploring Ho Chi Minh city.
