FAQs about hotels in Maspalomas
On average, 3-star hotels in Maspalomas cost $140 per night, and 4-star hotels in Maspalomas are $207 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Maspalomas can be found for $448 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
Very warm with fantastic sea/ocean for swimming. Varied landscape of the shores while if you turn around you can be amazed by the great mountains. There is a special natural reserve at the south of Maspalomas, the Dunes, where you can feel if you would be in the driest desert really. At the Dunes although naked people appeared all the time coming out of the bushes, which makes that area not really safe for kids.

The Hotel was immaculate and the staff friendly.
The Hotel was immaculate and the staff friendly. The Unique Club experience was worth it. The breakfast was excellent. The half-board evening buffet was superb and not crowded in February. The evening entertainment was generally of a high standard.
The only negative aspects are included to provide a fair feedback.
The communication with the resort via Booking.com was difficult and uncertain so I had to telephone hotel twice to confirm requests had been arranged (eg taxi transfer). This may have been Booking.com process at fault rather than hotel.
The À la carte experience in La Toscana was rushed and overly efficient as pre dinner cocktails arrived with mains. Not worth the expense over the included half-board buffet.
There was no obvious information about any of the facilities or excursions made available to me throughout my stay. There was no mention of the restaurant options and cuisine available for each - I had to go to each to investigate. The casino was never mentioned and not sign-posted.
I realised there was an App I could have downloaded as I was leaving.
But I would definitely go back to the hotel as It was greta in every other way.

I love walking here and I always go up in the lighthouse when you are tired there are taxi stands in every direction. The restaurants are very welcoming and happy to show passers by their mmenues

Location is key when deciding on a hotel or apartment so you can easily access shops and services especially if you don't have an all inclusive holiday. Also, if you don't have a free shuttle service, you can take the bus but the timetable seems erratic. A taxi 1 way about 45-50 euros.

The beach for those that enjoy sea swimming is superb and stretches for miles.. Lovely to walk along the 5/7 km stretch. Great mix of people / cultures and everyone just gets on. The promenade and restaurants are plentiful and again good for stroling , physical runs excercise.

Good weather in January-warm and sunny most days.
Good weather in January-warm and sunny most days. Clean and large beach, well looked after. Quiet, peaceful place. Beautiful views and sunsets.Lots of good restaurants and just near by. Good range of shops to browse in Meloneras on the paseo. Easy to get about the island even without a car-taxis plentiful and good bus service. Bus station just near the hotel. Holiday suitable for couples and for older people , and young families. Possibly too quiet for teenagers.Windsurfers’ paradise! Could watch them for hours. Day trip to Puerto Mogan by boat from Arguineguin recommended-though gets busy.
The waiters, the cooks, the surroundings, the location, the hotel staff, the wonderful weather, the warmness, the food, wine, the sangria, the people, the quietness & the starry nights, the sunset and the blue lights in the pool area during night time which gives a relaxing atmosphere, the breakfast buffet and all the greetings helpful waiters swarming to make you feel like home even so the lunch around the pool area & the variety of dinner buffet, the gathering moments after dinner at the large balcony which goes on & on.
Many restaurants with themed evenings besides the main restaurant. The food was good, except some of the vegetables with was obviously from cans. Other vegetables however was fresh.
Staff was friendly
Rooms were clean
Pool was clean. Since I visited this place during the pandemic, there was no chair reservation madness. However, I can imagine there is during normal times.
There is no beach directly in front of the hotel, but here hardly is in Gran Canaria. However, Beaches can be reached with a short walk.
Great facilites from the pool to the excellent gym. The rooms are nice and comfortable. There is a great bar by the pool and the cocktails are excellent.
The breakfast is great and the staff is kind and helpful.
With the myriad of bad restaurants in Maspalomas eating in the hotel by the pool is not a bad option. I went out with friends some days and some others I preferred to eat outside by the pool for the evening and also the lunch. If I come back to Gran Canaria I have no doubt I will stay here again.
The hotel was fantastic: service, staff, food, room size and comfortableness, cleanliness, pool/loungers layout, bar, prices....we had an extremely relaxing and happy stay. Always enough pool beds and loungers. Rooms adequately sound proofed as hardly any noise heard in the mornings even though a fair amount of children by the end of our week there. Non all inclusive food and drinks fairly priced and good size portions. We will definitely be recommending and coming back as soon as we can!
I could not fault this hotel!
One of our party made an incorrect booking (there are 5 Hotel RIU in the area!) And they resolved it quickly and without any hassle at all. Loretta and Molina on reception were exceptional. The hotel was immaculate and the rooms comfortable and stylish. The food was excellent and the service was again brilliant , special mention to Scarlet and Jesus. The bar staff round the pool.also deserve a shout out.
Absolutely impeccable holiday from start to finish.
This place is stunning! Beautifully designed with comfortable beds, a great shower, and a delicious breakfast. We also loved the all-day bar service for a glass of wine or a light lunch. The location is fantastic, right on the beach. This was our first trip to Gran Canaria and we didn’t know what to expect, but we were blown away by this place. There are a few good places to eat within walking distance. Great for walking on the beach and exploring the Maspalomas Dunes.
We were given a welcome tour of the whole apartments building, as it is quite big and with different entrances.
The apartment itself is amazing, small but renovated and very clean, enough for a couple. Walking distance to the beach, some restaurants and a supermarket.
It had A/C and an incredible ocean view.
Well equipped kitchen.
The pool was clean and quite.
We loved everything! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfy. We got the room with pool view. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. There's supermarket and very good pizza restaurant nearby and what's the most important in Gran Canaria big, free parking.
The complex was kept clean, there are plenty of swimming pools and there was good policing of mask wearing in indoor communal areas. There was a local park nearby and the hotel supplied a daily coach to the local water park and beach and back. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful.
It is a spacious apartment, located very close to Maspalomas beach and the dunes. Nearby are restaurants, supermarkets and all the little shops on the seafront. We didn’t have problems with the parking.
Amazing little complex of 4 villas ,every amenity was catered for ,Angela is so hardworking and helpful 5star hotel treatment with the benefits of self catering
